Walk for Hunger 2007 will be held on October 14, 2007 at Charles Creek Park.  Registration begins at 1:00 PM and the walk begins at 2:00 PM.
      The walk, fun and games for children, and the after-walk picnic will be part of a super afternoon in Elizabeth City.

       As a special treat, a participants' picnic will take place immediately after the walk.  Montero's Restaurant is donating and preparing the treats.

       Walkers, teams, and sponsors are registering every day.  This year promises to be the best Walk for Hunger ever.

       Your Food Bank and the hungry men, women, and children in our communities rely on your participation to make this event a success.  For each dollar that is raised the Food Bank is able to provide six pounds of food.  Six pounds of food provides about five meals.
