Virtual Food Drive

A virtual food drive is an opportunity for an individual or a group to help the hungry and needy in northeast North Carolina from the comfort of their home or office.  In many respects it is just like the many other times you have contributed food to us but with a convenience twist.  Instead of visiting the store, packing up the car, and delivering your food donation to a collection point, you can select items from the boxes below.  Your selections will be totaled above the register receipt on the right.  If you desire, you can make or add a money donation by simply selecting the "+ADD A CASH DONATION" option.  When you have finished shopping, click in the "SUBMIT YOUR DONATION " area to process the donation using the credit card of your choice.  All credit card operations are processed over secure systems.  You will receive an email confirmation of your donation, and the Food Bank of the Albemarle will followup with a letter of acknowledgement.

If you would like to sponsor a church or an organizational food drive, we can set up a special web site to support the drive.  Call the Food Bank at 252-335-4035, extension 111 to arrange one of these special events.
