The Aid Association for Lutherans (AAL) gave a grant in the amount of $37,015 to recover some of the out of pocket costs related to the flood.

Aid Association for Lutherans is a nationwide fraternal organization that serves Lutheran congregations and individuals with insurance needs, education services on wills, planned giving and matching gift programs, and supplies.

Recently AAL made the decision to become involved in disaster relief across the country.  Wherever a national disaster occurs, they will make themselves available to help with disaster relief with money and supplies which will be made available to all people, regardless of religious affiliation.
