Rural Delivery Program
[Return to Services]

THANKS TO MILLER BREWING FOR OUR TRUCK!

The Rural Delivery Program was instituted in 1995 and is provided to drop-off points in six of the eastern, western, and southernmost areas once a month. This is greatly needed in the rural areas, as there is no other littletruck.jpg (16862 bytes)source of food available to the hungry residents of these counties.

Door-to-door delivery is also available to agencies who may have difficulty in getting volunteers and/or transportation to pick up at either the warehouse or the drop off sites.

The presence of the Food Bank and it's member agencies are a constant reminder that hungry neighbors are in need of help, and that everyone can participate in anti-hunger advocacy and education efforts to better their communities.
