Advocacy and Public Education Program
[Return to Services]

A newsletter is published monthly for agencies which focuses on available products, hunger issues, nutrition information, and Food Bank and Governmental policies.

A monthly church newsletter highlights special events, volunteer opportunities, and needed items for donation, among other things.

A  newsletter is sent to our entire mailing list three times each year.  This newsletter focuses on the plight of the hungry, encourages support for impoverished people, provides information on Food Bank events and happenings, and urges participation in public policy decisions faced by our political representatives.

Education on hunger and poverty issues are provided to schools, civic groups, and churches.  If you are interested in having a staff member or volunteer talk to your group, please contact Cindy or Bob at 252-335-4035.
