Mobile Food Pantry

The presence of the Food Bank and its member agencies are a constant reminder that hungry neighbors are in need of help.  Our message is that everyone can participate in anti-hunger advocacy and education efforts to better their communities.

In some parts of our service region, there are areas where our Mobile Food Pantry visits and makes direct contact with individuals and households.  This direct contact is needed, since – in many cases – the distance to the nearest agency is too great for the men, women and children who need our assistance.  We think of the Mobile Food Pantry as an “agency on wheels”, and currently it serves over a dozen locations.
