Privacy Policy

The privacy of our donors, friends, supporters and professional colleagues (individuals, businesses, and organizations on our contact lists) is of the utmost importance to the Food Bank of the Albemarle.  Consequently, the FBA does not sell or trade names or addresses with any other organization.  Information may be shared, however, with financial institutions (banks, credit card processors, etc.) to process the donations.
 
We do not collect information on our web site.  “ClickandPledge” processes on-line donations to the Food Bank of the Albemarle on its secure web site.  You may view information about their privacy policy at http://www.clickandpledge.com/Privacy/.
 
We do not maintain personal information on our web site.  Personal information maintained by the Food bank is stored in-house.  Access to personal information is limited to individuals with a strict need-to-know who have the responsibilities to process informational mailings, solicitations, and donations, or the responsibility to maintain data accuracy.
 
Even though we do not share contact information with other organizations, you may ask us at any time to remove your name and address from our contact list.  We will promptly honor your request.
